It’s hard to see what’s coming when we’re in the middle of change. Even harder to trust that change or challenge is happening for our benefit.
But what if life is constantly in service to us? Inviting us to meet ourselves at the threshold of our comfort, security and certainty.
I’ve been asked again and again to reconsider who I think I am and why I’m here. What continues to guide me is the trust I’ve developed with myself and with life.
I’ve learnt, through dedication and pain, to become my own best friend, and to give myself space enough to listen to what my body, heart and soul are communicating to me. Sometimes I’m scared of what I hear, but I see these moments now as gifts, for the expansion of myself and my consciousness.
I continue to learn this through the practices I am devoted to, at the heart of each lies the art of listening to our own innermost voice and the earnest whispers of the heart. Everything I offer into the world is an invitation to meet yourself in a deeper, truer way.
Often, as we inch closer to a resolution or transformation our well-built structures begin to break down or collapse. We have to confront parts of ourselves we may have exiled or abandoned, and get real with what we choose to take with us into the future.
It’s not how we meet the outcome that counts, but the way we romance ourselves along the way, the way we journey and trust when we can’t see the end of the road that makes all the difference.
These are some questions I’ve been asking myself recently, maybe you find them helpful too. You might like to journal them at the start of this new month.
Do you feel close to yourself? What helps you come closer?
Do you give yourself time to listen, be with and love your own heart? How does this change how you experience life?
What if everything you long to be and know and touch is possible? What would it take for you to walk that road if you’re not already?
As always, you are so invited to share any insights or thoughts that you feel would like to be witnessed. We grow stronger and braver in togetherness and sharing.
And if you’d like to journey through these questions with a guide and ally, you can connect with me through the practices listed on my website.
With love,
Helena
