Final Applications for Vision Quest

Each November, my dear friend and co-founder of Circle Back Tasmania Cat Bednarski and I faciliate our annual Vision Quest Program. We run this program on a private property just outside Mt Field National Park, where there is a wild clean creek, thriving eucalpyt forest, tree-ferns and other cool temperate rainforest species, pademelons, wallabies, currawong, pink robin and yellow-tailed black cocaktoo.

Cat and I have each experienced the powerful impact that questing in this way has had in our lives again and again, and so have trained to become guides in the Stalking Wolf Lineage that we may provide the sapce to our community, friends and heart-led folks to also meet this transformational ceremony.

We hold this annual program because we believe our community needs these kinds of spaces to remember why we’re here and what we are capable of, individually and collectively. More than ever the world needs empowered, courageous and heart-led people doing their good and soulful work. Over the years of our own practice and learning, we’ve continued to develop the skills necessary to facilitate this with each other and for each other, and we continue to see this offering as a service to the bigger picture of becoming that our world is currently going through.

What will life on Earth look like in 5, 10, 50 or 100 years? Does that question scare you or excite you? Maybe, probably both. Vision Quest and its teachings continue to give me the ground to stand on and the stability inside myself to meet questions like this with an open heart and find a sense of agency in an often debilitating landscape of noise and media-driven madness.

Quest is not an easy process. It’s not a retreat or a self-help improvement program. It can be hard and heart-wrenching, but it also has the potential to offer you a life-changing moment of stillness and simplicity. It is a quiet, painful and powerful way back to your own beautiful, bright heart.

We are in uncertain and precarious times, and we all have a contribution to make. What is yours? This ceremony has enabled me to have the clarity and conviction I need to stay awake to my reality, to make choices from a belief in wonder, beauty and possibility, instead of fear and to keep the faith in the quiet cumulative effects of living consistently and truthfully.

Cat and I are deeply humbled and honoured to be caretakers of the Stalking Wolf Lineage and provide the time and space to others to Quest. We only take a handful of people to maintain integrity and an intimate community process.

More information and applications are available on our website. If you have questions or are curious about Questing but don’t know if it’s right for you, reach out and we can have a chat.
